About Corak Malaysia

Corak Malaysia is a special project by Ruzzgahara, dedicated to crafting a fresh and distinctive identity for Malaysian motifs and patterns. The initiative has officially copyrighted its collection of 20 unique motifs, making them available for public use across a variety of artistic and craft applications. By encouraging artists, artisans, and everyday Malaysians to adopt and reinterpret these designs, Corak Malaysia aims to inspire a cultural revival, where each person can contribute their own stylistic interpretations to the nation’s artistic tapestry.

The project’s mission is to foster a deeper sense of ownership and connection to Malaysia’s rich artistic heritage. By transcending traditional boundaries, these motifs are poised to evolve and adapt to contemporary expressions, blending tradition with modern creativity. Corak Malaysia seeks to spark a broader cultural conversation, allowing these motifs to become part of a shared visual language that reshapes and redefines the future of Malaysian art and design.
